I have one word, and one word only “ACCEPTED”! Meaningless, I think not. This movie changed my life and the way we will all look at teachers. Accepted is a movie that restores hope to all academic rejects and proves that students are and always will be their own teachers. Students, we have been told no our whole lives. No that’s not good enough, No your too fat or No simply because ‘I’m big, your small and there’s nothing you can do about it’. Yeap, how many times have your teachers pimped that speech? But I am here as a messenger of you, and tell you YES. You can do it and we don’t need teachers holding us back.
Teachers are criminals! Who are they to put limits to us? Who are they to tell us what to wear and where to pierce our bodies? They put us on detention if we do not conform to what they want, and you never hear anything about what we want. They rob us of our creativity and our passion and that’s the real crime.
Teachers are safety hazards! Now, no names are mentioned here, but I do recall seeing a certain someone in a jungle filled of undomesticated teens with a burning cup of Coffee each lunchtime, don’t even get me started on “Stumpy” (a metal baseball bat in which Mr G uses to help him and or us think). Such hypocrites, they choke me like an infestation of maggots smother a dead carcass. They tell us not to run with scissors, stay away from the gas taps and don’t forget the majorly horrific act of not tucking your shirt in. They are putting all of us in danger with their burning souls of coffee and there deceitful ways.
Teachers who are old and have lost their passion for teaching aka Mrs Melville should be banned. Banned from our schools and banned from our lives, as we are now going to rise up and show the world that we can survive without teachers.
Life experiences are worth more than any teacher can teach. We never stop learning and we never stop dreaming, and we definitely don’t need teachers!
